One More Reading Challenge

I2011 Where Are You Reading? Challenge know what you’re thinking. STOP! This reading challenge won’t mean any additional commitments, though. It works with what I’m already reading. It’s the 2011 Where Are You Reading Challenge.

Essentially, it works like this: after I finish reading a book, I mark its setting on a Google map.

Based on my reading so far, I suspect I’ll have a lot of dots clustered in England.

How much fun is that? Should be interesting to see if my reading is as focused on England as I think it is.

Here is my map so far:

  1. Oh, wow … I made a note of this last month as "something else I should do," and forgot all about it. Thanks for the reminder! Right now my reading is all over the place–Canada, Israel, and Russia!

    1. I'm afraid mine so far has been a little focused in one area—Britain, but I still think it will be interesting to see by the end of the year.

  2. Isn't this the best challenge? I like how it provides another way to look at your books … and doesn't really require a lot of "effort" other than playing with the map.

I have 2 books from England already, which is unusual for me.

    1. I like it that it really complements the other challenges. I already took on quite a lot, but I can't resist adding one that integrates technology.
